Out of Touch Architecture
Architectural Firm
Details
Out of Touch Architecture is a practice formed across the triad of Sydney, Dubai, and Roma, led by Founder and Principal Gia Contini. The studio is dedicated to spatial rebellion, designing buildings that refuse to settle for the expected. Its name is a deliberate provocation: to be out of touch, in Contini’s words, isn’t to be disconnected but to be untamed by ordinary standards.

Where traditional architecture leans on rigid codes and sterile, muted tones, Out of Touch works with tension, texture, and contrast. The ethos is simple: a space should be felt before it is understood. The mission is to create environments that provoke a response, rejecting the safe default in favour of work that leaves a physical, lasting impression on everyone who enters.

OOT adopts a cross-cultural perspective that sharpens its voice rather than diluting it. The brand’s journey is one of deliberate defiance: it positions itself against convention so that the right clients recognise it immediately. Those clients are the ones who see architecture as a statement, not a template, and who want a principal-led studio willing to push past ordinary standards with them.
